Alaska Tribal Victims Services

Program Overview

RurAL CAP’s Alaska Tribal Victim Services Program works to engage and support tribal organizations across the state in applying for and managing Denali Commission grants that address the needs of crime victims.  Through individualized Training and Technical Assistance, we help build the capacity of tribal organizations to assess needs, develop strategic plans, and implement tribal victim services. In partnership with a statewide advisory group, the program offers a variety of training events, resources, peer-to-peer learning opportunities, and one-on-one support to tribes. Together, we help grow and leverage additional funding for future victims of crime services.
