Program Overview

RurAL CAP provides home accessibility services to individuals living with physical disabilities in southeast, northern, and western Alaska.

Our staff collaborate with each client to ensure that they receive effective, individualized, and safe upgrades in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Modifications include ramps, handrails, and doorway expansion, all with a focus on accessibility and cost effectiveness.

To help those living with disabilities enjoy greater independence, we partner with Southeast Alaska Independent Living (SAIL) who finds eligible individuals to enroll in our services.
