RurAL CAP hosts the annual Rural Providers’ Conference (RPC), a weeklong gathering designed by service providers, leaders, and community members interested in celebrating and encouraging the continual growth of the Alaska Native Sobriety Movement. Led by a group of sobriety Stakeholders, the RPC assists individuals in their transition to safe, sober, independent living through talking circles, ceremonies, presentations, group events, and goal setting activities. 

Attendees work toward uniting traditional Alaska Native knowledge and practices with treatment and prevention methods to find solutions for alcohol and drug abuse in Alaska.
