Youth Development & Culture Grants
RurAL CAP’s Youth Development and Culture Grant Program awards eligible organizations with the opportunity to design, develop, and implement projects that empower rural Alaskans to support positive youth development, leadership skills, and cultural connection.
These projects are developed with the overarching goal of reducing the disproportionate number of underserved youth who come into contact with the juvenile justice system.
We assist awarded communities every step of the way (from program development to grant management and reporting) by providing detailed training webinars, teleconferences and individualized support.
We accept applications from federally recognized Indian Tribes, public or private nonprofit institutions in rural Alaska, and organizations that have a significant impact on rural Alaska Native youth.
